Stand Alone Bell 202 modem

The Stand alone or Box modem can be equipped with either the Bell 202 modem, the Bell 202T modem or the ITU V.23 modem. The metal enclosure or box, is 187 x 105 x 36 mm or 7.35 x 4.14 x 1.42". Flanges are provided at both ends for mounting the equipment.

If required the Stand alone modem can also have a 3U VME face plate added such that the modem can be mounted in any 3U chassis The figures below is a sample of such a unit. (note unlike the rack mount modem which has a bus slot connector for the back plane).
